CONTRACT OVERVIEW In consideration of the mutual covenants herein contained and, intending to be legally bound hereby, the Client and the Makeup Artist agree as follows: MAKEUP ARTIST Obligated to give services hereunder is subject to the unavailability of the Artist as a result of sickness, accidents, or other reasons beyond the Artist’s control. The Artist will find a replacement artist in the same price range if the Artist is unable to render her services due to the above mentioned. CLIENT In full consideration for all services rendered by the Artist at location, the Client agrees to make the following payment in U.S. funds to the Artist. PAYMENTS • A 50% Retainer with signed contract is due in order to secure your date. Deposits are NON- REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE. • Remaining Balance: Client will pay the Artist the remaining balance in cash, Zelle or Venmo Before or on the date of Event. Payment received any day after will be charged $25 per day. • Touchup: Hourly rate: $350 per hour pertains to client if needed for pictures after wedding or for evening reception. Travel fee will be calculated. • Travel rate: $2 per mile round-trip from San Jose, 95111 (car). $1 per mile for each additional artist. Destination weddings: (Please inquire for pricing). Round-trip airfare plus any lodging fees for 2 nights required. • Before salon hour: There will be an early fee of $70 to start before 8am and an early fee of $100 if starting time is before 6am. Additional $100 for every hour before 6am. • Parking: Hotel-parking fees will be charged to the contract or hotel room charges on the day of the event, if a parking fee is required. • All day service: a vendor meal is required when artist is working more than 6 hours, per day. CANCELLATION In the event Client cancels the Project at any time, Client will lose FULL deposit made to the Artist. Client will have no further liability to Artist hereunder. MISCELLANEOUS The service contract and the attached rider(s), if any, set forth the entire agreement between the parties, and may not be amended except in writing signed by both parties. This Project Agreement will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to the principles of conflicts of law. In any action or proceeding involving a dispute between the Client and the Artist arising out of this Project Agreement, the prevailing party will be entitled to receive from the losing party reasonable attorney’s fees
